Data Deletion Instructions

Porchlight is a booking and guest-experience platform operated by ConnectiveView Advisory LLC. This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we hold about you, whether you are a guest of a Porchlight-powered property or a property operator using Porchlight.

How to request deletion

Email dane@connectiveview.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• the email address and/or phone number you used with Porchlight;
• the name of the property you booked with or operate, if you know it;
• a statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data.

We verify that the request comes from the owner of the contact details provided before deleting anything. We will confirm completion by email.

Timeline

We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your guest profile: name, email address, phone number, and saved preferences.
• Your conversations with the AI assistant, across every channel (website chat, SMS, WhatsApp, and email), including message history.
• Any SMS or messaging opt-in and consent records associated with you.
• Review content you submitted that has not been published publicly.

What we must retain

Some records cannot be deleted on request because we are legally or contractually required to keep them:

• Booking and payment records for completed transactions, retained for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. Payment card details are never held by Porchlight — they are processed and stored by Stripe.
• Messaging opt-out records. If you replied STOP to text messages, we keep the minimum record needed to honor that opt-out, so that deleting your data does not accidentally cause you to be messaged again.
• Published reviews you chose to make public, which may be retained in anonymized form.

Where we retain such records, we keep only what is necessary and delete the rest.

Data held by your property operator

Porchlight is used by independent property operators. Your booking details are also visible to the property you booked with, who is an independent controller of that information. If you want your data removed from that operator’s own records as well, contact them directly — we will tell you who to contact if you ask.
